Oakland Raiders tight end Zach Miller will go to his first Pro Bowl in place of injured Antonio Gates.

The Raiders announced Wednesday that Miller was picked as an injury replacement for Gates, the San Diego Chargers star who was placed on injured reserve late in the season with a right foot injury.

Miller led the Raiders with 60 catches for 685 yards and five touchdowns this season. He has led Oakland in receiving each of the last three seasons.

Miller is one of four Raiders players on the AFC Pro Bowl roster. He joins cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, punter Shane Lechler and defensive tackle Richard Seymour.
