The Boston Bruins go into the Stanley Cup finals against the Chicago Blackhawks with the leading scorer in the playoffs.

David Krejci's nine goals and 21 points are both tops in the postseason. But the soft-spoken center doesn't get the publicity of other productive scorers. And teammate Shawn Thornton says Krejci prefers it that way.

Krejci had three goals in a Game 4 win over Toronto in the opening round, including the overtime goal. Then he had four goals in the four-game sweep of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference finals.

Krejci also was the leading scorer in the 2011 playoffs when the Bruins won their first Cup since 1972.

The Bruins open the best-of-seven Stanley Cup finals in Chicago on Wednesday night.
