LATROBE, Pa. – Buffalo Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel says he's always looked up to two-time Super Bowl winner Ben Roethlisberger.
Manuel and the rest of the Bills received an up close view at Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday during the first of two combined practices before Saturday night's preseason game at Heinz Field.
Manuel says he's taking advantage of the opportunity to learn how Roethlisberger prepares and conducts himself during practice.
Buffalo general manager Doug Whaley spent 10 years in Pittsburgh's front office before eventually taking over the Bills in 2013. Whaley said he's trying to mold the Bills in the Steelers' image and hopes a few days working alongside the only franchise with six Super Bowl titles will have a positive effect on his young team.
