Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that forward Craig Adams recently underwent an appendectomy.
Adams will need about four weeks to recover, but the team expects him to be ready for training camp next month.
The 34-year-old had four goals and 11 assists in 80 games with the Penguins last season.
