Charlotte, NC – The Carolina Panthers signed Pro Bowl year extension on Friday.
Kalil, who was slapped with the Panthers' franchise tag in February, has agreed to a contract that will make him the highest-paid center in NFL history, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
The 6-foot-2, 295-pounder has been an iron man the last two years, starting all 32 games and gaining Pro Bowl recognition for both seasons.
A second-round pick by the Panthers in the 2007 draft out of USC, Kalil has started 47-of-50 games over his four-year career.
