Eric Wellwood scored the lone goal for the Flyers, who sit in the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference. They trail Pittsburgh by two points and lead New Jersey by five, but both of those teams are winning on Tuesday night.
Ilya Bryzgalov gave up both goals on just 13 shots for Philadelphia, which had won five straight at home.
