The San Diego Padres aren't making too many highlights in the midst of a six-game losing streak, which made a ballgirl the talk of the team's 5-3 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

In the eighth inning of Sunday's game at Petco Park, right fielder Matt Kemp ripped a high fastball from Phillies reliever Hector Neris foul down the left-field line.

The well-hit ball was traveling at a dangerous pace into the portion of Petco Park's Section 122 that extends back toward the field.

With fans in the section ducking for cover, the ballgirl down the third-base line nabbed the ball out of the air with a fantastic jumping catch.

Padres fans were thoroughly impressed with the ballgirl, offering her a standing ovation for the catch, which prevented potential disaster in Section 122.
