Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 18 of his 25 points game 61 win over Illinois on Thursday.

Hardaway was 6-of-7 from the floor -- including a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc -- while Trey Burke added 21 points and five assists for Michigan (22-8, 12-5 Big Ten), which hadn't won at Illinois since 1995. The Wolverines have won five of their last six games overall.

Michigan wraps up its regular season Sunday at Penn State and can still grab a share of the Big Ten title. If the Wolverines win, and Ohio State knocks off Michigan State in East Lansing Sunday, there will be a three-way tie atop the Big Ten standings.

Meyers Leonard had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead the Fighting Illini (17-13, 6-11), who have lost 10 of their last 12 games.
