Neymar scored twice in a 12-minute span of the second half as Santos edged Coritiba, 2-1, on Sunday for its second win in a row in the Brasileiro.

Deivid handed Coritiba the lead inside 10 minutes as it searched for its third straight win, but Neymar scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season for Santos to steal a road win.

Neymar scored his first goal in the 70th minute and added the game-winner just eight minutes from time as Santos extended its modest unbeaten streak to three matches. Coritiba lost for the third time in its last five games.

Atletico Mineiro wasted a chance to return to the summit Sunday as it fell 1-0 at Nautico on a second-half goal from Souza, Vasco da Gama needed a goal from Nilton to tie Cruzeiro, 1-1, Romarinho and Paulinho scored as Corinthians beat Palmeiras, 2-0, and Claudio Pitbull scored late as Bahia extended its unbeaten run to seven with a 2-1 win over Figueirense.

Also Sunday, Internacional came from two goals down against Sport Recife in the second half to earn a 2-2 draw with goals from Cassiano and Leandro Damiao, Flamengo got a second-half goal from Adryan to finish in a draw with Gremio, while Ponte Preta and Botafogo played to a 0-0 stalemate.

On Saturday, last-place Goianiense used goals from Diego and Renie to surprise first-place Fluminense, 2-1, on the road, ending the leaders' 12-game unbeaten streak.

Goianiense has just 20 points from 25 matches, 33 points off the pace, but got two first-half goals and held on for the win, as Michael had the only response after half for Fluminense. Fluminense maintained its lead atop the table over Atletico Mineiro.

Bruno Cortes and Luis Fabiano scored in the second half as Sao Paulo defeated Portuguesa, 3-1, to snap a four-game winless run in the other match Saturday.
