The New York Mets excercised the contract options of third baseman David Wright and pitcher R.A. Dickey on Tuesday, according to a report by MLB.com.

Wright is set to earn $16 million next year, while Dickey is slated to get $5 million.

The 29-year-old Wright is coming off a bounceback season that saw him hit .306 with 21 homers and 93 RBI.

The 37-year-old Dickey is coming off a career year in which he went 20-6 with a 2.73 ERA and 230 strikeouts over 233 2/3 innings.

The knuckleballer had surgery on Oct. 18 to repair a torn abdominal muscle.
