Ozzie Mann threw for three touchdowns — including the go-ahead TD pass in the second quarter — and Ball State beat Bowling Green 41-24 on Friday.

Ball State trailed 21-7 at the end of the first quarter, but a field goal and 25-yard TD pass from Mann put the Cardinals within four, 21-17. With just 41 seconds left in the second quarter, Mann threw a 16-yard TD pass to Jordan Williams to put Ball State ahead at the break.

The Cardinals held Bowling Green to just three second-half points, and scored 17 points of their own to stretch the lead.

Mann threw for 286 yards, and Jahwan Edwards ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns for the Cardinals (5-7, 4-4 Mid-American).

Bowling Green's Travis Greene ran for 159 yards, Fred Coppet added 140 on the ground, and each scored a touchdown for the Falcons (7-5, 5-3).
