The New York Liberty signed guard Kelly Miller on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Miller, 33, spent last season with the Washington Mystics, averaging 7.4 points, 2.8 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 34 games, including 29 starts.

"Kelly is a veteran point guard that can also shoot and play off guard position," said Liberty coach and general manager John Whisenant. "She is tough and athletic and will fit our hard-nosed defensive style very well."

The second overall pick in the 2001 WNBA Draft, Miller has averaged 7.2 points, 2.6 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 353 career games with Charlotte, Indiana, Phoenix, Minnesota, Atlanta and Washington.
