Lazio currently occupies the third and final Champions League spot in Serie A, and the club will attempt to strengthen its hold on the position with a win against fourth-place Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

Coach Edy Reja's side is three points clear of both Napoli and Udinese with eight games to play, and Reja is viewing Saturday's clash as a final of sorts, with the result going a long way in determining third place.

Lazio is in a poor run of form having lost three of its last four games in the league, but Reja will be hoping his team's form at home continues with the club earning wins in four of its last five games at the Stadio Olimpico.

Leading scorer Miroslav Klose is still out through injury while defender Andrea Dias will miss the match due to a thigh problem.

Napoli will try to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat at Juventus last time out that brought an end to a nine-match unbeaten run for the club.

But Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri will also be missing key players ahead of Saturday's match with midfielders Andrea Dossena, Marco Donadel and Christian Maggio each out injured.

Fellow midfielders Juan Zuniga and Walter Gargano miss out through suspension.

AC Milan sits two points clear at the top of Serie A after a 1-1 draw at Catania last weekend. The result snapped a run of four successive wins in the league, while the Rossoneri was knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday following a 3-1 defeat at Barcelona.

Milan's opponents on Saturday, Fiorentina, are stuck in a five-match winless streak, while second-place Juventus has won its last three games by a combined score of 10-0 and travels to Palermo.

Despite a run of five matches without a win, Udinese is still in the thick of the Champions League hunt and aims to break that streak at home against Parma.

Last-place Cesena is almost assured of being relegated and will host Bologna, while second-from-the-bottom Novara is nine points from safety and must start picking up wins to have any chance of survival. Bottom-half side Genoa will visit the club on Saturday.

Lecce still has a chance of escaping the bottom three but must make up five points on Fiorentina over the remaining eight games, with the first of those matches coming at home against Roma.

Inter Milan's quest for a European place continues at Cagliari, Siena visits Atalanta and Chievo entertains Catania.
