Scheuerman carried the ball 45 times and caught three passes for 53 yards.

He gave the Leopards (5-6, 3-3) a 14-0 lead on a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs, then had a 71-yard scoring run midway through the second quarter. He rushed for 209 yards in the first half.

Christopher Leigh's 70-yard touchdown run pulled Lehigh within 21-7 late in the third quarter before Lafayette quarterback Zach Zweizig connected on a 23-yard touchdown pass to Matt Mrazek late in the fourth quarter.

With two straight wins in the series, Lafayette holds a 78-67-5 lead.
