Florham Park, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Jets wrapped up signing their entire 2015 draft class after sixth overall pick Leonard Williams agreed to a contract on Friday.
Williams, a 6-foot-5, 302-pound defensive lineman out of USC, was regarded as one of the best defensive players in his class.
"I think my greatest attribute is just having a lot of passion for the game," said Williams. "It makes me push myself to the limit. I have high expectations for myself and I want to reach them and it is all because of my passion for the game."
In his third and final season at USC, the two-time All-American Williams recorded a career-high 80 tackles with seven sacks.
Over the past three days, the Jets have signed wide receiver Devin Smith, quarterback Bryce Petty, offensive lineman Jarvis Harrison, defensive tackle Deon Simon and linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin.
