Winnipeg, MB – New York Islanders goaltender Al Montoya left body injury.
Montoya was run into by Jets forward Evander Kane with 1:20 remaining in the second period, and collapsed to the ice.
He was prone for several minutes, then escorted from the ice into the locker room by team training staff.
Kane was given a minor for interference on the play.
Evgeni Nabokov entered the game for Montoya.
