Indiana remained the top team in men's college basketball and not much changed in the latest Associated Press poll after a quiet week.

The Hoosiers received 44 first-place votes and a total of 1,580 points from a nationwide media panel. Indiana has held the top spot since the preseason poll was released in early November.

Duke again picked up 20 first-place votes to keep the second spot in the poll and is followed by Michigan, Syracuse, Florida, Louisville, Ohio State, Arizona, Kansas and Illinois. Florida and Louisville swapped places from last week, and Illinois moved up three places to 10th after beating Gonzaga on Saturday.

The second 10 consists of Cincinnati, Missouri, Minnesota, Gonzaga, Georgetown, Creighton, New Mexico, San Diego State, Michigan State and UNLV. Gonzaga dropped four places from 10th after the 85-74 setback to the Illini in Spokane.

North Carolina, Notre Dame, Wichita State, Oklahoma State and North Carolina State are the last five teams ranked.

There are no newcomers this week.

Just one game matches a pair of ranked teams this week, as Florida visits Arizona on Saturday night.
