While it's unknown if Heat star guard Dwyane Wade will play game homestand, Miami hasn't missed a beat without him.
Wade has missed the last three games -- all victories -- with a right ankle injury and the team is 6-0 without him in the lineup this season. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade is improving and will remain day-to-day. The 2006 NBA Finals MVP is averaging 19.6 points this season for Miami, which is 3-0 on the homestand after handing Philadelphia a 113-92 loss last night.
Chris Bosh had 30 points to go with seven boards and five assists, while LeGron James ended with 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
"He definitely does a lot of the scoring, but he's also going to find people too," Miami center Joel Anthony said of James.
Anthony is shooting a career-high 56.1 percent from the field this season and had nine points versus the 76ers. Mario Chalmers was the other double-digit scorer with 11 points. The Heat are 6-1 at home this season and have won six of nine games overall. They will close out the residency Tuesday versus Cleveland and have scored at least 100 points in 11 of 15 games. Miami is averaging a league-high 107.0 points per game.
The Heat have won four in a row in south Florida and are 7-1 against Eastern Conference opponents this season.
Brandon Jennings scored a season-high 36 points and dished out five assists, while Shaun Livingston added 18 points and five rebounds for the Bucks, who ended a three-game losing streak and got 10 points and 11 rebounds from Drew Gooden. Andrew Bogut posted 11 points and five boards in the win.
"Everyone that came into the game did something positive for us," Bucks head coach Scott Skiles said.
Skiles benched Stephen Jackson for missing the team's shootaround and the Bucks should have their guard back on the floor tonight. Jackson, in his first year with the Bucks, is averaging 13.7 points per game. The Bucks are 4-1 when they score 100-plus points in a game this season
Milwaukee lost three of four matchups with Miami last season and has dropped six of the past 10 encounters with the Heat. The Bucks have prevailed in three of their previous four visits to south Florida. Wade is averaging 23.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.0 assists in 22 career games in this series.
