New York Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers has been diagnosed with a blood clot in his calf.

Rogers, signed in April, missed practice over the weekend and was examined Monday in New York. He is undergoing treatment. There is no timetable for a return.

The 33-year-old Texas product spent the 2011 season with New Orleans and made 22 tackles in 16 games, four of which were starts. He has also played for Cleveland and Detroit in an 11-year career.

Rogers, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, has 37 1/2 sacks in his career.
