Grayson Garvin pitched into the seventh inning and set a school record with his 13th victory this season, leading Vanderbilt to a 10-2 win over Troy in the Nashville Regional on Saturday night.

Garvin (13-1), the Southeastern Conference pitcher of the year, scattered seven hits, allowed two runs and struck out seven in 6 2-3 innings. The left-hander left with a two-run lead, but the Commodores (49-10) scored six runs in the last two innings to pull away.

Aaron Westlake and Curt Casali hit back-to-back home runs in the eighth for Vanderbilt.

Daniel Peterson led Troy (43-18) with two hits, and Todd McRae drove in both runs in the fourth inning.
