Garnett likely to miss 4-5 games

The Boston Celtics will likely be without veteran center Kevin Garnett for the next couple of games.

Garnett aggravated a foot injury against Dallas on Friday and missed Saturday's tilt versus Memphis as a result.

He was sent back to Boston for an MRI and after review, Celtics coach Doc Rivers said nothing was found to be alarming

According to the team's Twitter account, Rivers said he believes the injury doesn't look to be serious, stating, "If you mean that he's not going to play this year, no, I don't worry about that. Can he miss 4, 5 games? Yeah."

Garnett, 36, has averages of 14.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 65 contests this season.
