FC Dallas' Wiedeman undergoes hernia surgery

Frisco, TX – FC Dallas midfielder Andrew Wiedeman underwent successful sports hernia surgery on Monday and is expected to miss four to six weeks, the Major League Soccer club said Tuesday.

Wiedeman had appeared in one game this season for Dallas off the bench. During his career, the 2010 second round MLS SuperDraft pick has appeared four times for the club.
