Lawrenceville, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White was arrested Tuesday morning on a failure to appear in court warrant.

A police report from the Gwinnett County police department cites that White was pulled over for speeding in a 65 mile per hour zone and taken into custody after the officer found the outstanding warrant, which had been issued for a ticket for having illegally tinted windows on his vehicle in February of 2013.

White was released from the Gwinnett County Jail after posting bond.

"We are aware of the incident involving Roddy White," said the Falcons in a statement. "We anticipate this will be resolved shortly and we will have no further comment at this time."

The four-time Pro Bowl selection had a string of six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons end during an injury-plagued 2013 campaign in which he recorded 63 catches for 711 yards and three touchdowns over 13 games.
