Zurich, Switzerland – Both Denmark and Greece returned to Cola Men's World Rankings on Wednesday, while Spain increased its lead over the Netherlands at the top.
The Dutch fell further off the pace of Spain after a 3-2 defeat to Sweden in Euro 2012 qualifying, with Greece (8th, up 3) and Denmark (10th, up 7) both using success in qualification to move up the rankings.
Sweden (14th, up 11) and Slovenia (27th, up 6) also had a good month in Euro 2012 qualifying, while Portugal (8th, down 3) and Croatia (12th, down 3) were among the highest-ranked teams to drop.
Mexico (22nd, down 2) remains the top-ranked side in the CONCACAF region despite moving down, with the United States (34th, down 3) also dropping.
The next edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Men's World Rankings will be released on Wednesday, November 23.
