Irving, TX – The Dallas Cowboys signed safety Brodney Pool to year contract on Thursday.
Pool, 27, played his first five years of his career with the Cleveland Browns before joining the New York Jets as a free agent in 2010. Last season, he saw action in 14 games with the Jets, starting six.
The Oklahoma product was a 2005 second-round pick and has recorded 365 tackles, 13 interceptions and 5 1/2 sacks in 100 career games, 67 of which he has started.
