INDIANAPOLIS – Colts officials say linebacker Kavell Conner has had surgery to repair a fractured left foot and will miss Sunday's game at Jacksonville.
The rookie made his first career start last weekend when Clint Session sat out because of a hamstring injury.
The Colts say receiver Anthony Gonzalez will also miss his third straight game with a sprained right ankle and 2007 NFL defensive player of the year Bob Sanders will be out again after having surgery to repair a torn biceps muscle two weeks ago.
Indianapolis also released backup quarterback Tom Brandstater from the practice squad on Tuesday.
