San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Diego Chargers linebacker Donald Butler will miss the remainder of the season after dislocating his left elbow during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos.

Butler, San Diego's second-leading tackler, sustained the injury late in the first half of the team's 22-10 loss to the Broncos. It occurred when he was blocked on a running play by Peyton Manning, who temporarily left the game after hurting his thigh during the collision.

The fourth-year pro had started 13 of the Chargers' 14 games, amassing 83 tackles, one sack and three fumble recoveries.

With Butler placed on injured reserve, cornerback Greg Ducre was signed off the practice squad to fill the roster spot.
