Canada, Zimbabwe bid to host '15 Women's World Cup

Canada and Zimbabwe are competing to host the 2015 Women's World Cup.

FIFA confirmed the bidders in a release Monday.

The prospective hosts have to submit their bid books by Feb. 11. FIFA's executive committee will vote when it meets March 2-3.

This year's tournament will be held in Germany.

Canada is ranked ninth in the world, and Zimbabwe 103rd.
