Bradley-Pacquiao decision to be reviewed

The World Boxing Organization announced Wednesday that Timothy Bradley's controversial split decision over Manny Pacquiao will be reviewed.

The chairman and CEO of Top Rank, Bob Arum, who is the promoter for both fighters, submitted a request for an inquiry on the judges' scoring on Monday.

The split decision, in which still-undefeated Bradley won 115-113 on two cards, was greeted by gasps and boos at the MGM Grand and ended Pacquiao's 15- fight winning streak.

WBO president Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel announced the WBO's Championship Committee will examine the decision "with five recognized international judges to evaluate the video of the match and agree to what emerges."

The WBO could order a rematch if the decision is found to be flawed, but that could turn out to be unnecessary as Pacquiao's fight contract included a rematch clause, guaranteeing him a second fight.
