AMES, Iowa – Kelsey Bolte scored 17 points and Lauren Mansfield added 13 to help No. 20 Iowa State cruise to a 71-45 victory over Colorado on Saturday night.
The Cyclones (18-8, 6-6 Big 12) finished with a season-low six turnovers while winning their fourth straight conference home game.
Brittany Spears had 13 points to lead the Buffaloes (12-13, 3-9). Second on Colorado's career scoring list, Spears increased her total to 1,961.
The Cyclones used a 13-0 run over a 6:51 stretch in the second half to take a 45-30 lead with 11:09 to go.
Iowa State took advantage of Colorado's early foul trouble and led 31-28 at halftime.
