Bogdanovic, Hood named Rookies of the Month

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Bojan Bogdanovic and Utah guard Rodney Hood were named Rookies of the Month for April.

Bogdanovic helped the Nets reach the postseason for the third straight season with his strong month. He scored a career-high 28 points in the season finale against Orlando, a must-win game for the Nets to clinch a playoff berth. He shot 52.6 percent from the field and led Eastern Conference rookies with 14.4 points per game.

Hood set a career high with 25 points on April 5 against Sacramento and tallied three 20-point games in the month. He averaged 16.7 points and 3.4 assists over seven games.
