Charlotte, NC – The Charlotte Bobcats signed guard Reggie Williams on Thursday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In 80 games played with the Golden State Warriors last season, the 6-foot-6 Williams averaged 9.2 points and 2.7 rebounds. He shot 42.3 percent from beyond the arc, which ranked ninth in the NBA.
In 104 total games with the Warriors, Williams has career averages of 10.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
Williams will have surgery in the coming days to repair a tear of the lateral meniscus in his left knee. He's expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks.
