Athletic Bilbao added to its attack by inking striker Aritz Aduriz to a three-year deal, making his return to San Mames for a third stint with the club.

Aduriz, who joins Los Leones from Valencia, originally joined the club when he was 19 before spending some time in Serie B with Burgos and Valladolid. He returned to Bilbao in 2006 but was sold to Mallorca in August of 2008 before making the switch to Valencia two years later.

But the 31-year-old has returned to the club where it all began as he will look to help guide Bilbao to a Champions League berth.

The signing gives Bilbao manager Marcelo Bielsa some attacking options after a season where the team relied heavily on Fernando Llorente.
