Kurt Barnes shot a one-under 71 on Sunday to hold on and win the ANA Open by a stroke.

Barnes entered the day tied with Masamichi Ito atop the leaderboard at Sapporo Golf Club, but ended up at 13-under 275, one better than three players. It's his first tour victory.

Ito shot a two-over 74 to slip to sixth at 10-under. Tomohiro Kondo (68), Shingo Katayama (70) and Koumei Oda (71) shared second at 12-under 276.

Hyung-Tae Kim nearly made up a huge deficit with an eight-under 64, but settled for fifth at minus-11.

Yuta Ikeda (69) and Ryuichi Oda (70) tied for seventh at nine-under, while Toshinori Muto (69), Brendan Jones (69), Brad Kennedy (70) and Daisuke Maruyama (72) shared ninth at minus-eight.
