Arsenal's Miyaichi joins Wigan on loan

Wigan, England – Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi will spend the upcoming season on loan at Wigan, the Gunners announced on Monday.

The 19-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Bolton, and after making two first-team appearances for Arsene Wenger's team, both in the League Cup, Miyaichi heads to the DW Stadium on a season-long loan to gain more experience.

Miyaichi joined Arsenal in January 2011 after impressing the club on trial, and he appeared in 12 Premier League games for Bolton last term while also making his full international debut for Japan this past May.
