Arizona Cardinals cornerback Antonio Cromartie has suffered a left Achilles tendon injury against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cromartie was injured early in the fourth quarter Sunday when he slipped while trying to tackle Chiefs receiver Albert Wilson.

Cromartie, Arizona's starting right cornerback, lay on the field for several minutes and had to be helped off the field, unable to put weight on his left leg.

The Cardinals have gone through a string of injuries this season, including safety Tyrann Mathieu, who didn't play against Kansas City because of a thumb injury suffered last week against Atlanta.
