Biden has watched Honey Boo Boo on Air Force Two

Honey Boo Boo has become such a national phenomenon that her television show has gone sky high.

Vice President Joe Biden told deejay Roxy Romeo of South Florida pop station WMIA-FM that he's caught "snippets" of Honey Boo Boo on his official aircraft, which has cable television access.

Mention of the child pageant contestant, who stars in her own reality television show, came up as the vice president was describing how he stays up to date with popular culture.

Biden said he watches Modern Family and Parks and Recreation, and then added, "I haven't spent my time with popular culture that, like my granddaughter talks about -- Honey Boo Boo is not on the top of my list -- but I am aware just, you know, by catching snippets on Air Force Two -- quite the phenomenon," he said with a chuckle.

The deejay, testing the vice president's pop culture knowledge, asked him if Let The Sky Fall is the new James Bond villain or the theme song.

"To tell you the truth, I don't know," Biden said.

"Well, you have a lot on your plate, I'm sure we can forgive you. It's the new James Bond theme song by Adele," the deejay responded.

"By the way, I have Adele on my iPod, but I didn't know that was the new theme song," he added.
