The Armentrouts, along with a handful of other truckers, parked their rigs at the Southside Travel plaza in Harrisonburg on Tuesday to protest high fuel prices and low freight fees.

"We are on borrowed time," said Armentrout, who has been driving since he was 21. "I don't think the protest is going to help lower fuel prices, freight rates are going to have to come up or something," he said.
