STOCKHOLM – A fat thief made life easy for Swedish cops, becoming wedged in a fence as he tried to make his getaway after an attempted house robbery.
The rotund robber got stuck in the fence in the southern Stockholm suburb of Enskede, The Local reported, and was unable to squeeze through to freedom before authorities arrived.
Police officers freed and arrested him -- but not before snapping a picture and tweeting for the world to see.
"After a break in attempt in Enskede during the night, the offender tried to creep though a fence. Got stuck and couldn't come loose," they wrote.
One Twitter follower described the unfortunate criminal's predicament as "like something from a bad comedy."
