A Czech art group has replaced the presidential flag over the Prague Castle with a piece of huge red male underwear in a jab at President Milos Zeman.

The group known as "Ztohoven" said in a statement Sunday it is the proper flag "for a man who is not ashamed of anything."

Zeman has expressed a critical view of the migrants coming to Europe and recently came back from a visit to China praising Chinese leaders.

"Ztohoven" suggested they chose red underwear because it was the same color as the Chinese flag.

The Czechs have earlier pelted the controversy-prone president with eggs to protest his pro-Russian stance in the Ukraine conflict.

Police said three men were detained over Saturday's incident, which was condemned by the president's spokesman.
