Oakland, CA – The Golden State Warriors announced Tuesday that guard Stephen Curry will likely not play again this season.
"While he continues to make progress in the rehabilitation of his injured right ankle, it was determined that he is not yet 100 percent and it is doubtful that he will play the remainder of the 2011-12 season," the team said in a statement.
Curry has missed the last 22 games with a sprained ankle and 34 games overall this season due to injury. When healthy, the Davidson product has averaged 14.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds.
The Warriors (22-38) have six games remaining.
