Villarreal's Ruben out three weeks with broken toe

Villarreal, Spain – Villarreal forward Marco Ruben is facing 1 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

The 24-year-old replaced Guiseppe Rossi in Saturday's match after the Italian suffered a bruised knee, but Ruben himself will now miss Villarreal's Champions League match with Napoli on Tuesday and will face a fitness race to be ready for the club's third Champions League contest with Manchester City on October 18.

Ruben tallied five goals in 30 La Liga appearances last term, and he has scored once in four league matches this season.
