Rivalries are part of what makes the NFL such an entertaining industry. Some teams just don't like each other, and the fans of those teams often get caught up in the bitter nature of the battle for bragging rights.

However, when a serious injury strikes, those differences are put aside. That was the case on Monday, when the Minnesota Vikings sent their well wishes to injured Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson via Twitter.

"Rivalries aside, it's never fun to see one of the best go down," the Vikings' official Twiter account wrote. "We hope you have a full and speedy recovery, Jordy!"

Nelson, 30, tore his ACL in a preseason loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and will miss the entire 2015 season. In two games against the Vikings last season, Nelson had nine catches for 134 yards and a touchdown.

Although the Vikings should benefit from their division rival being down a star playmaker, they showed true sportsmanship with this classy Tweet.
