U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann has left his lineup intact for the first time since he took over as U.S. coach 23 months ago, not making any changes for Friday night's World Cup qualifier against Jamaica in Kingston.
In the first of three qualifiers in a 12-day span, Tim Howard was in goal, with Brad Evans at right back, Omar Gonzalez and Matt Besler in central defense, and DaMarcus Beasley at left back.
Jermaine Jones, Michael Bradley, Graham Zusi, Clint Dempsey and Fabian Johnson were in the midfield of the 4-5-1 formation, with Jozy Altidore at forward.
The same lineup started Sunday's 4-3 exhibition win over Germany in Washington, D.C. This was Klinsmann's 28th game since replacing Bob Bradley.
Jamaica coach Theodore Whitmore made one change, starting midfielder Jermaine Johnson in place of Je-Vaughn Watson, who came off in the 62nd minute of Tuesday night's 1-0 home loss to Mexico in qualifying.
Donovan Ricketts was in goal, with Alvan Powell at right back, Daniel Gordon and Adrian Mariappa in central defense and O'Brian Woodbine at right back. Marvin Elliott, Jermaine Hue, Rodolph Austin, Garath McCleary and Jermaine Johnson were in the five-man midfield, and Ryan Johnson was up front.
Roberto Moreno of Panama was the referee.
Jamaica had been 0-10-8 against the U.S. before rallying for a 2-1 win at The Office in the semifinal round last September. Dempsey scored 35 seconds in, the fastest goal for the Americans in qualifying, but Jamaica came back on free kicks by Austin and Luton Shelton that followed fouls by Kyle Beckerman and Maurice Edu.
The U.S. won 1-0 four days later at Columbus, Ohio, on Herculez Gomez's goal from a free kick.
Gomez and Danny Williams did not dress Friday night.
Mexico (1-0-3) began the night atop the standings in the final round of North and America and the Caribbean with six points, one ahead of Panama (1-0-2) and two in front of Costa Rica, the U.S. and Honduras (1-1-1). Jamaica (0-2-2) was last with two points.
Mexico was at Panama later Friday, when Costa Rica hosted Honduras. The U.S. hosts Panama on Tuesday in Seattle, then plays Honduras on June 18 at Sandy, Utah.
The top three nations advance to the 32-nation field in Brazil next year, and the No. 4 faces New Zealand in a playoff for another berth.
