Twins sign OF Willingham to 3-year contract

Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota Twins have agreed to terms year, $21 million contract.

Willingham set career-highs in home runs (29) and RBI (98) while hitting .246 in 136 games with Oakland last season, his lone year with the Athletics.

For his career, the 32-year-old has batted .262 with 132 home runs, 156 doubles and 434 RBI in 799 games with Florida, Washington and Oakland.
