Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - PGA TOUR - HP BYRON NELSON CHAMPIONSHIP, TPC Four Seasons Resort, Irving, Texas -- The PGA Tour returns to Texas this week for the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
Last year, Sang-Moon Bae managed a 1-under 69 in windy conditions during the final round to top Keegan Bradley and collect his first career win on the PGA Tour.
Bae and Bradley battled back and forth throughout the day on Sunday until Bae chipped his third shot at the par-5 16th to five feet and converted his birdie putt to claim the lead for good.
Bradley then bogeyed the 17th to fall two back as Bae parred his final two holes to seal the win.
Bae returns to defend his title this year against a field that includes nine of the top 25 players in the world. Fifth-ranked Matt Kuchar leads that group, which also includes hometown favorite Jordan Spieth.
Other members of the top 25 include former Byron Nelson winners Jason Dufner (2012) and Keegan Bradley (2011).
Seventeen-year-old Scottie Scheffler, who is the defending U.S. Junior Amateur champion, will make his PGA Tour debut at this event.
Golf Channel will have full coverage the first two days and early action on the weekend before handing off to NBC.
The PGA Tour remains in Texas next week for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, where Boo Weekley collected his third career victory last year.
EUROPEAN TOUR
OPEN DE ESPANA, PGA Catalunya Resort, Girona, Spain -- The European Tour moves to Spain this week for the Open de Espana.
Raphael Jacquelin needed a record-tying nine playoff holes at this event last year to defeat Maximilian Kieffer and Felipe Aguilar and earn his fourth career European Tour title.
Aguilar was eliminated from the playoff with a par at the third extra hole, and Jacquelin failed to put Kieffer away as he missed birdie putts from about 15 feet on the next three holes.
After Kieffer missed a potential winning putt at the seventh playoff, Jacquelin stuck his approach within five feet of the cup at the ninth extra hole and converted the birdie putt for the win.
The nine-hole battle tied the mark set at the 1989 KLM Open, when Jose Maria Olazabal outlasted Roger Chapman and Ronan Rafferty.
Jacquelin will try to become the first player to successfully defend his title at this event against a field that also includes 2002 winner and native Spaniard Sergio Garcia.
Hong Kong Open winner Miguel Angel Jimenez will return to action this week after sitting out nearly a month following his victory at the Greater Gwinnett Championship, where he made his Champions Tour debut.

The European Tour moves to England next week for the BMW PGA Championship, where Matteo Manassero needed four playoff holes last year to defeat Simon Khan and Marc Warren and become the youngest winner of the European Tour's signature event.
LPGA TOUR
KINGSMILL CHAMPIONSHIP, Kingsmill Resort, Williamsburg, Virginia -- The LPGA Tour returns from a week off for the Kingsmill Championship in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Last year, Cristie Kerr parred the second playoff hole to top Suzann Pettersen and win the Kingsmill Championship for the third time.
The duo completed the tournament at 12-under-par 272 and traded pars at the first extra hole to force the second playoff.
They then returned to the 18th hole, where Kerr 2-putted for the win as Pettersen missed the green with her approach and failed to get up and down for par.
Kerr has collected three of her 16 career titles at this event, and will look to make it four against a field that includes eight of the top 10 players in the world.
Golf Channel will cover all four rounds.
The LPGA Tour goes to Alabama next week for the Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. Jennifer Johnson used a 7-under 65 during the final round at that event last year to come from behind and collect her first career tour victory at a tournament record 21-under-par 267.
CHAMPIONS TOUR
REGIONS TRADITION, Shoal Creek, Shoal Creek, Alabama -- The Champions Tour also returns from a week absence as the tour travels to Alabama for the first major of the season, the Regions Tradition.
David Frost carded a 4-under 68 during the final round last year to edge Fred Couples by a single shot and earn his first career major championship victory on either the PGA or Champions Tour. It was Frost's fifth win on the Champions Tour.
Frost will look to defend his title this week, but is coming off a share of 47th place at the Insperity Invitational and has finished inside the top 10 just twice this season.
Also competing in the 81-player field this week will be 10 members of the World Golf Hall of Fame, including Tom Watson, Bernhard Langer, Sandy Lyle, Curtis Strange, Larry Nelson, Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Nick Price and 2013 inductees Couples and Colin Montgomerie.
Montgomerie is one of eight players making his debut at this event,

The Champions Tour travels north to Michigan next week for its second straight major, the Senior PGA Championship. Kohki Idoki fired a 6-under 65 during the final round last year to come from behind and win his first-ever major championship victory in just his second start on tour.
WEB.COM TOUR
BMW CHARITY PRO-AM, Thornblade Club, Greer, South Carolina -- The Web.com returns to action this week in South Carolina for the BMW Charity Pro-Am.
Mark Anderson finished a record-setting week with a 6-under 65 last year to earn his first Web.com Tour title.
His final score of 27-under-par 259 smashed the tournament's scoring record of 264 set by Charles Warren in 2002. Michael Sim and Fabian Gomez matched that total in 2009.
The event will have eight local pros among the field that also includes celebrities like Wayne Gretzky, Frankie Muniz and Richard Schiff.
Golf Channel will have tape-delayed coverage of all four rounds.
The Web.com Tour moves to North Carolina next week for the Rex Hospital Open, where Chesson Hadley birdied five of his last eight holes to rally for a 2- stroke victory.
