Sparks' Parker to sit Friday at Tulsa with right wrist injury

TULSA, Okla. – Candace Parker, the MVP of the WNBA All-Star Game, was expected to miss the Los Angeles Sparks' game against the Tulsa Shock on Friday night with a right wrist injury.

Parker scored 23 points in the All-Star game, the most ever in the event.

The Sparks were starting a five-game road trip.
