Real Sociedad ensured top-flight soccer next year and doomed Racing to relegation after picking up a 3-0 win at the Anoeta on Saturday.

Antoine Griezmann played a starring role in the victory, scoring twice and setting Sociedad's third to keep the club in La Liga for another year.

The 21-year-old Frenchman opened the scoring in the 47th minute before doubling the advantage 20 minutes from time.

Griezmann had a hand in the third goal as well, setting up Imanol Agirretxe in the 83rd minute to put the result beyond any doubt.

Racing's 10-year spell in La Liga ends in disappointment as the club sits bottom of the table on 26 points.

Real Sociedad climbs up to 13th place in the table on 43 points.
