Seahawks sign CB Winfield

Renton, WA – The Seattle Seahawks have signed former Pro Bowl cornerback Antoine Winfield.

Winfield, who will enter his 15th NFL season, had spent the previous nine years playing for the Minnesota Vikings. He was released by the Vikes last month in a salary-cap move.

Last season, Winfield had 101 tackles and three interceptions. A first-round draft pick in 1999, Winfield played his first five seasons for the Buffalo Bills. The three-time Pro Bowl selection has 1,170 tackles and 27 interceptions.
