Report: Granderson bound for Mets

New York, NY ( - Curtis Granderson is staying in New York. However, he'll be switching leagues.

The New York Post reported Friday that the outfielder has agreed to a four- year, $60 million contract with the Mets.

Granderson, 32, was limited to 61 games last season with the Yankees because of forearm and pinkie fractures, both of which were products of being hit by a pitch. He hit just .229 with seven homers in the injury-marred campaign after averaging 42 homers and 113 RBI over his previous two years in the Bronx.

For his career, Granderson has batted .261 with 217 homers, 199 doubles and 606 RBI in nearly 1,200 games with the Detroit Tigers and Yankees.
